  • A Portrait of Mr. Green

    “A Portrait of Mr. Green,” Mixed media on canvas, 24 x 40,” 2008. $333.
    It took me three days to do this portrait.  It was nice to watch his kind face change through layers of acrylic, oil, and wax medium.  I was playing a game with myself, trying to name actors whose features bear resemblance.

  • Watch out!

    We’ve been birthday bashing this past weekend, and I’m starting to paint a restaurant tonight.  Keep on the lookout for framed paintings and funny photos.  Eye light to paint!

  • She Groks it

    I was doing a little photo shoot today with the kids.  I asked Dava to think about cupcakes, and voila! I am very interested in representing light’s separation of color, and will feature several paintings in this theme in the future.

  • Her Dervish Flare

    Her toboggan was hot, and her dance posed some serious attitude.  So, I painted my sweet daughter with the flames of Bjork’s, “Volta” album.  We were grooving with her at the end of the Coachella 2007 Concert.
