I was an exchange student for a year in The Netherlands. I reminisced about the trip in this painting. I had an olive green bike that took me wherever I wanted to go. The country is so full of color in spite of the dreary cold weather most of the year. From flower farms, specialty shops, and museums across the country, I soaked in the cute, compact culture every chance I got. This painting is of somewhat historical value now that they no longer use the colorful Dutch dollar!
